Bacon-Wrapped Pears {Cookbook Give-Away and Review}

Mickey_Highres-8665-2 (1)

When Mickey asked me to take a look at her new eBook, The Autoimmune Paleo Cookbook, I was super excited! Following her blog, I had seen some of the photographs and I knew there were going to be a number of recipes on my “to-make” list!

I really wish I would have had this cookbook when I did the Autoimmune Protocol Challenge back in January. Michelle has everything laid out for you, with 2 different 4 week meal plans that come complete with shopping lists! The autoimmune protocol is a really great elimination challenge; the perfect place to start if you are trying to figure out what foods are bothering you. Michelle gives you the complete list of the foods you are allowed to eat and makes everything really easy to understand and follow.

8673990300_15f16cd8ef_nI was Seriously surprised and thrilled with Michkey’s  Autoimmune Paleo Cookbook. I have not been a big fan of eBooks in the past, because the lack content. However, this isn’t a low content $4.99 eBook.  This eBook rings in at $19, and is worth every cent.  It IS a Real Deal cookbook where you get a sense of her heart and soul, packed full of well crafted recipes and photographs.  Even if you don’t need to follow this autoimmune protocol, this cookbook is filled with amazing Real Food Recipes anyone can enjoy! Click here to visit Autoimmune Paleo.

As soon as I started feeling better I came down with Erytheme Nodosum caused by Sarcoidosis. So for the past three montgs I’ve been trying to follow tge AIP but am really struggling! This book would be a great help!

  10. I would love it for the structure and recipes. I have been on/off the AI protocol for a year now. I need to get back on it for Graves Disease.

  11. I’d like this book as a resource for myself and for clients!

  12. My immune system is currently in overdrive and I need to do something (soon) to calm it. I’ve heard lots of rave reviews and success stories of AIP. Finances are very tight and I’d LOVE to win a copy of Mickey’s ebook. Thanks for hosting this giveaway!

  13. I’m treating rheumatoid arthritis through diet and recently discovered I’m sensitive to both nuts and nightshades, so I would love this cookbook. Note: The author’s name is Mickey, not Michelle. (Easy mistake to make.)

    • Oh Gah! How embarrassing! The email I received was from Michelle, and I thought that must be her *full name* Mickey for short (I did know her name was Mickey)…Now I see Michelle is her Communications person! I will correct it :P Here I was trying to be all official with full first names!

      • You are both right! Mickey is short for Michelle. Although, it would be cool to have a communications person… maybe someday? :)

        • haha! well there you have it! I should have just stuck with what was on the book cover! I must have referenced the email when you sent me the picture :) Beautiful book under either of your names :) haha a communications person would be wicked!

  14. I’d love to win the book because I’ve had chronic fatigue syndrome since I was 16, and it’s taking such a long time to heal, even while eating Paleo. I could definitely use the resources to take things one step further and continue to heal.

  18. I would benefit from this cookbook, as I have Hashimoto’s Autoimmune. I am also an Applied Clinical Nutritionist and incorporate elimination diets in my program. I have quite a few members that would benefit as well, including my family members. You don’t necessarily have to have autoimmune to benefit from this wonderful opportunity. This is a wonderful opportunity for anyone who really wants to change their habits and reverse disease. It takes a lot of hard work, therapy, and dedication to resign yourself from having a “cheat day.”

    I also liked both FB pages. :)

Looking to embark on a new way of life and to clean out my system truly for the first time ever now that I’ve made it quite possibly to the root cause! Your book sounds fabulous. Blessings and Light to all who suffer. Gratitude to those who have helped blaze a new trail to wellness.
